KDA selects Kodyna AS for the series manufacturing and supply of the Ammunition handling system.

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace issued a news release at the end of 2024 regarding their new contract for supply of the Medium Calibre Turret (MCT-30) to the US Marine Corps’ new amphibious vehicle.
Kodyna has over several years had an ongoing program with development and qualification of the ammunition handling system which forms a substantial part of the MCT-30 system. The ammunition system has now successfully been undergoing a comprehensive test program both in Norway and in the USA.
Kodyna received in December 2024 the supply contract for the first series batch of the system. The batch will be delivered to Kongsberg in the USA.
The value of this first contract with the options included will have a value in the range of up to 80 to 90 mill NOK. Further options for coming future programs increase the value potential significantly.
The signed contract is a significant milestone for Kodyna’s investment in becoming a complete development and supply company for system products to the defence market.
